Changelog

What's new, what's fixed, what's changed.

PuffKit — layer thumbnails and precise value editing

  • PuffKit: the Layers panel now shows a thumbnail of each shape instead of just a color code, so you can tell layers apart at a glance
  • PuffKit: precise value editing — type an exact value into any slider's number box or nudge it with ← / → arrow keys, and the depth slider is less twitchy for small tweaks
  • PuffKit: fixed shapes sometimes disappearing behind the icon body

Aura — Gradient mode, color picker, simpler UI

  • Aura: Gradient — a new 9th shape alongside the 8 3D objects. Renders a mesh gradient built from your palette: 5 color regions, softmax blending, grain texture. For flat-design covers when you don't want a 3D centerpiece
  • Aura: color picker — pick an anchor color, one of four harmony rules (Analogous, Complement, Triadic, Mono) builds a 5-color palette. Updates live as you drag
  • Aura: simpler UI — Palette, Shape and View now open as inline popovers right above the toolbar. The right-side Tuner panel and the upload modal are gone. Material moved into Shape. Variation, Background and curated-palette buttons removed

InkKit launched — one-click hand-pressed stamp generator

  • InkKit launched — browser-only generator that turns photos, logos and icons into hand-pressed stamp impressions in one click. Three opinionated presets (Sketch line work, classic Stamp, worn Vintage), auto ink-color detection, smart background removal, and 1200/2500px PNG export. Made for Etsy sellers, handmade brands and small studios making sticker sheets, product stamps and branded labels
  • Pro upgrade: branded stamp text — top/bottom arc and full circular ring layouts with letter-spacing control, $5 one-time

Aura launched — free 3D abstract cover generator

  • Aura launched — free, browser-only generator for premium 3D abstract covers. Upload any image to extract a brand palette, then sculpt 8 organic shapes in chrome or candy materials. Made for Notion, Linktree, Bento and landing page heroes
  • Published the Aura tutorial

AutoKit — one-click animation Templates + richer motion

  • AutoKit: Templates — one click to apply a hand-crafted entrance + loop combo instead of picking both separately. 17 presets so far: Heart, Star, Checkmark, Loading, Pin Drop, Jiggle, Balloon, Alert, Sparkle, and more
  • AutoKit: Surprise me inside Templates rotates through every preset — each click lands on a genuinely different vibe instead of the old same-feeling Shuffle. The separate Shuffle button is gone; everything animation-related now lives in one place
  • AutoKit: motion feels less templatey — each entrance uses its own physics curve (spring overshoots, drops bounce on settle, reveals snap). Bigger shapes animate with a touch more weight than smaller ones
  • AutoKit: three new loops — jello (squash-stretch Q-bounce), sparkle (multi-property twinkle for stars and awards), sway (gentle pendulum for balloons and hanging elements). Plus blink (eyes) and heartbeat (badges)
  • AutoKit: new Roll In entrance — elements roll in with a spring, great for refresh icons and wheels

PuffKit — four new material modes (Chrome, Glass, Holo, Clear)

  • PuffKit: Chrome — metallic polished surface with neon reflections, for cyberpunk hero icons
  • PuffKit: Glass — transmission-based crystal with real volumetric refraction; transparent body lets the backdrop show through the shape
  • PuffKit: Holo — iridescent thin-film shimmer (rainbow rim at glancing angles), for Y2K / dreamy pastel outputs
  • PuffKit: Clear — studio-lit tinted glass, for water drops, perfume bottles, product-shot aesthetics
  • PuffKit: background toolbar simplified — 5 direct picks (transparent, dark, light, mint gradient, night gradient). Gradient backdrops now pass through Glass and Holo refraction so you actually see the gradient bending through the shape

AutoKit — layer thumbnails, manual grouping, smarter Shuffle

  • AutoKit: the element list now shows a thumbnail of each layer, so you can actually see which one you're picking — no more guessing from "path" / "ellipse" / "el_3"
  • AutoKit: Fluent Emoji and 3D-style icons now work out of the box — layered gradients merge into one unit instead of flickering into pieces
  • AutoKit: manual grouping — tick multiple layers with checkboxes and group them as one unit. Finally handles emoji with separate hand + arm paths that should animate together. Works across filter wrappers too, so grouping hand + sleeve + arm on a Fluent Emoji preserves the soft-shadow effect
  • AutoKit: Shuffle is emoji-aware — picks one hero entrance + 1-2 subtle accents (eyes, nostrils, ears) instead of making every decorative layer jitter at once
  • AutoKit: symmetric features animate in pairs — no more one eye blinking while the other sits still
  • AutoKit: soft-focus glows and drop-shadows no longer drift during breathing loops
  • AutoKit: removed the over-eager auto-spin default that sometimes made hand silhouettes and emoji faces rotate
  • AutoKit: cleaner layer names (Shape, Oval, Rectangle)

PuffKit launched — 3D puff stickers from flat SVG icons

  • PuffKit launched — dedicated 3D puff sticker generator for flat SVG icons. Handles multi-color, multi-layer artwork (not just single-color logos); purpose-built for the claymorphism aesthetic; browser-only PNG export

Color Swap launched — free bulk-recolor for SVGs

  • Color Swap launched — free, browser-only bulk-recolor for Freepik / unDraw SVGs. Auto-groups colors into Primary / Accent / Neutral; related shades shift together so shading is preserved; ZIP batch export
  • Published the Color Swap tutorial
